‘77 was my first year in construction as a carpenter. I froze my butt off at times that winter but I don’t recall thinking it was anything other than “another Colorado winter” except that I had to work in it instead of play in it.
If you were from the Midwest you would have noticed the difference in severalty. Probably out east, too.
