I lived through that winter, near Buffalo, NY. I’ll Never forget it. I grew up in Buffalo so knew how horrible winter was - but 77 (and 78) winters were the worst.

Shortly after, we happily moved to Clearwater Florida.

1978 was the last year i saw real Snow and Winter in SoCal, the 5 was closed at Magic Mountain with 4 ft of snow and it was 4-6 ft on the 14 all the way to Palmdale and across to Victorville and all the way to the Back road up to Big Bear..

I think it’s kind of nice that we are all going to die out all at once. The birds and insects will carry on...and in billions of year another intelligent life form will evolve.. Of course, monkeys will have to do a lot of typing before that will happen.:)
