Wait ... what? How is that ad “sexist”?! He got her a Peloton bike for Christmas and she made a “thank you” video for him. How is that sexist? For all the audience knows... she asked for the darn thing.

They want sexist? Then they should watch all of the commercials for various products made over the last decade that make dads out to be bumbling idiots and end up being saved by their stronger and smarter wives.

The really important missing element is what did she buy him for Christmas?

Reminds of the old ad, where the woman was showing off her new watch her husband gave to her, and her friend was admiring it, only to have the woman tell her, “But I was hoping for a Longines.”

A common misconception is that exercise makes you lose weight.

It’s not the only reason to exercise, the health benefits gained have nothing to do with your weight.

It is appalling that the Stock Market has been ruled forever by emotion. Now that US cultural emotion has lost all touch with reality, our financial future is truly shaky.

Another recent Post told of Chris Pratt apologizing for being photographed with a “single use” plastic water bottle.

HORRORS! Well, he wasn’t using plastic straws whit that bottle, was he?

And yes, that “His & Her” GMC truck ad brings to mind the crude expression “pu**y-whipped”. (Admin, please delete if this is too offensive)

The worst commercials have recently appeared on YouTube. IIRC, they are for some fake veggie burger and show a blond cutie wife beginning to explain to their children, in graphic terms, “marital relations” while he husband sits meekly on the bed beside her. She begins by telling that these things only happen after discussion and mommy giving her consent that she is desirous of daddy’s affections.

I thought it would encourage people to exercise for good health. I guess her body looked too much like Tulsi Gabbard's, so it triggered all the Elizabeth Warren supporters or something. 😂

I have not even seen the ad but the super offended would be anyway. I am offended that almost no ad uses the word Christmas this year, no man is allowed to drive a car in the car commercials and and some dude spent around $120,000 on two massive pickup trucks and can’t even get a color he likes.

Peloton should fire their marketing company.

This is the second or third time they have screwed up. Although I don't see what is so wrong with the ad but I am not part of their targeted demographic.

I work outside in the summer and have a inexpensive stationary bike that does not have some muscle bound nitwit babbling at me for the winter.

So, I guess we won’t be seeing a holiday gift ad from the Hoover Vacuum Cleaner people.

Just to be a contrary wench...I seriously doubt that ad has much, if anything, to do with Peleton’s stock market woes.

But it makes a dandy scapegoat.

The way I see it is that she got the one thing she REALLY wanted for Christmas. See uses it for her own well being, not to satisfy her husband by keeping her shape. She looked fine to start with and she used the Peloton to maintain her shape. Nothing more, nothing less.

The commercial in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pShKu2icEYw

Seeing as those bikes cost upwards of $2,500 plus a $39 monthly membership fee to access the videos, perhaps the wife asked for a Peloton for Christmas?

It didn’t bother me but I would like jewelry instead of a stationary bike....it’s like receiving a pressure cooker for a gift.....

But, but, but... Are you telling me I need to return that wonderful, shiny pressure cooker I just bought for my wife's present? And it was gift wrapped so nicely...

/S

WTF is wrong with people-—it’s a freaking ad and a husband and wife that care about each other. My goodness....I work out with my wife because it pleases her. That’s what she likes to do, it makes her happy and I enjoy being with her and working out together. Our society is so far gone we have no idea what to accept or be made at anymore!

Oh my god there is nothing wrong with the dam commercial. The problem must be the fatties are jealous of the skinny healthy girl.
