Sounds too good to be true Not really. They decided to go after the truck niche. A big trucking company could have on site pumps for the hydrogen, and will fill the tank just before usage so leakage isn't an issue. Maintenance is regular. Should be good for 300 mile hauls (600 round trip). It is an important niche, but still a niche. Nikola won't be selling consumer passenger cars any time soon.
