Ya gotta love the guy’s attitude. “room for improvement!” Love it . Also, his MK-1 Starship just blew its top in a fuel pressurization test. No one hurt so that is good. Gotta say he is our modern day Edison (for better or worse). :) As long as he figures it all out when there are humans in this thing, it should be ok.

“Elon seemed surprised by the results”.
“We threw wrenches, we threw everything,” he said on stage. “We even literally threw a kitchen sink at the glass, and it didn’t break. For a little weird reason it broke now, I don’t know why.”

Proving that Elon is still an ignorant ‘tard no matter how much taxpayer money he milks the public for!

Maybe someone should explain “Mass” and “Density” to him?
Sure a light, low mass item, like a wrench bounced off, that could happen with standard glass.
I actually have some familiarity with this particular glass as I’v e been doing some research for a project of my own.
It’s impressive stuff when used in the proper application, but it’s NOT “Transparent Aluminum” as musky seems to think!

If he were half as smart as he wants us all to think, they would have used the same objects at the presser as they had tested the glass with before.
