My wife and I were out last night on a beautiful evening at what was said to be the height of the “meteor storm” and saw nothing.

The fragments travelling through space must have been closely clustered when they impacted the atmosphere. None left when the earth rotated so the west coast was in position. However, after I gave up a large fireball was reported over my state. I don’t have any details but they are investigating if it was a bolide or possibly a small plane in trouble.

Nothing but overcast skies here. The soup was so thick today you could cut it with a knife at times. Same for tonight.
