Next they’ll say we should ban Pinocchio for saying over & over & over there’s something special about being a “real boy” instead of fake boy. :)

For anyone, ANYONE to take such a position automatically classifies their character as questionable. Who TF does she think she is? Five bucks says that she’s got skeletons in her closet that people like me would like to see exposed and let this chick get a real good whiff of her own sht. Would do her some good methinks. Ah...never-mind. Shes a UK student. Thats all I needed to hear.

Al Capp had idiots like her pegged even back in the 60's.

What about the billions of other people in the world?
Lauren thinks the world revolves around her.

Well, thats her problem right there. She should have stopped watching as soon as she saw something she didnt like. Its like me with the TV show Two and a Half Men. I didnt like it. So I just stopped watching it. Pretty simple.
Oh, wait. I forgot. Thats not how liberals operate. If they dont like it, it must condemned and banned.

“offensive”
Well, she offends me. Why are her feelings more important than mine? Is she royalty?

I still have a VHS version of the original Song of the South. It is dubbed in Japanese and we bought it sometime near when the family relocated there in 1988.

“Lauren Robertson re-watched 11 Disney favourites - accusing most of them of ‘portraying racist and exaggerated stereotypes’.”
Wow! She must have attended AOC University and got a degree in “A little Education Allows You to Govern the World”.

Let me get this strait, some student watches 11 Disney movies and his option becomes national news?
Well I guess if that's all you got.

Funny, as a kid back in the 50’s, I always watched them for entertainment. I love Siamese cats and pi$$ed they removed a memorable segment from the remake.

“outdated
People who actually use that term should be flogged. Mercilessly.”
Good point. How can you out date history? Things like that happened, learn from it while you recognizing what it taught. You can’t form the future without recognizing the past for what it was.

Wait until snowflake Lauren sees Song of the South.
Poor kid will probably need therapy.

So what is the solution to “offensive” cartoons? Aside from expressing an opinion, what more can be done legally? Oh, nothing can be done legally? Is the solution, therefore, to drive out of business those who sell or televise such movies? Being done. How about passing a law? Hate speech? Done.
Freepers, we are in a post-New Left world. As ridiculous as this young person sounds, 40 years ago, her idol Hillary Clinton was fired from the Democrat run Watergate Committee for egregious lying and unconstitutional behavior! It was unthinkable back then that Hillary would become the political leader of a quasi-government run coup d’etat to overthrow an election.

I wonder what the relationship is between the writer, Terri Ann-Williams, and this Lauren gal - and why Terri thinks Lauren's opinion is important enough to print - and why Terri's editors think it's important enough to publish.
I think Terri and Lauren are gal-pals...

Weren’t there some animal characters that were supposed to be The Beatles, too? Maybe it’s racism against Brits? Or rock music? Or shaggy hair cuts?
