::Men sometimes grow beards, especially goatees, when they gain weight in the face. Not saying all goatee wearers do, but sometimes this is the reason. Beck looks plumper these days.::

That’s probably true. But most of the time they don’t know which style is the right one for their particular face shapes. IMO, very few men can pull off a goatee. And Beck is not one of them.
