Anyone tried it yet, I downloaded the app to my phone but haven’t bothered signing up yet.
Nope. No $$ to Disney, the first business that I recall to go full pro homosexual.
In before the lecture about supporting Disney ...
Rather than join, just write a check to the Clinton Foundation or the Southern Poverty Law Center. You will be having the same impact.
The free market system at work!
I heard things went very very ssssllllooooooooooow
as someone who owns a large number of DIS stock for more than 25 years, thank you for everyone who bought a subscription!!!
Verizon is also offering its customers a free year of Disney+, which could further boost its subscriber numbers.
Key point. The vast majority of Disney+ subs are no doubt freebies from Verizon. Disney did something similar when ESPN+ launched. They rolled their old paid subscriber base into the new ESPN+ and claimed them as new subscribers to hype the launch of ESPN+.
I’m sure I will still be able to get Disney content from Netflix via my DVD subscription. Disney can’t keep Netflix from buying discs.
They busted Disney employees last weekend for child porn. No surprise there.
I’ll torrent the Star Wars show, but I’ll be damnned if I give a dollar to the Walt Epstine Co. (who might I add did not kill himself).
We have Verizon so have it free. It works, based on the Hulu platform which is what we use for tv through Hulu Live.
What does this get you, exactly?
I have Verizon and was not offered such a thing. It must be strictly for new customers and probably not a huge number due to most having it already.
Content providers getting into the streaming business means Nexflix will not be able to compete. A Nexflix competitor will not sell content to Netflex. The big boys are about take over streaming content. Bye bye Netflix, you had a good run, maybe AT&T or Disney will buy you.

It depends on which Verizon plan you have

Yes, I signed up last week and paid the 69.99 yearly option. You get a week before they bill you, so you can try it out a week for free.
A lot of haters on here will tell me how bad it is to give them money, but the content is worth that to my family.
Watched the first episode of the Mandalorian and it looks good so far. Much better than the last Star Wars movie.
Overall, I like what I see, so far. They have separate sections for Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and some others. A lot of classic Disney, with many of the newer movies also.
You were just beat out by someone...
Why do you think Netflix started making their own content. Not to mention the international stuff. Netflix will be fine.
