This morning on the radio I heard the breathless reporting that "According to the CDC at least 40 people have died from vaping related injuries!!!!!" To put that in perspective that is 40/330,000,000 = 0.0000121212% of the population. Or to look at it another way almost ten times as many people (350) died in 2019 from falling off ladders.

In other news Democrat spokesperson, Chicken Little, says the sky is still going to fall in 10 years if we don't:

1. Move into apartments with 50 sq ft allotted to each occupant.
2. Give up our cars and take public transit
3. Completely do away with air travel for the "little people" (NOTE: The important people and government employees will still be able to fly, but since the airlines will not be able to make money on this the airlines will be taxpayer funded branches of the federal government)
4. Surrender all of our life savings and most of our income to the government for the bureaucrats to spend much more wisely than we can
5. And of course surrender our firearms to the government

Survival rate for double lung transplant are not that good. I have a friend who only live a year after double lung transplant.

If the person is young they might make it to 10 years. Depends on your age and etc...

Reading a little deeper I see where vitamin e acetate was found in the vaping material.

There has been studies that show Vitamin E can increase a smoker and ex-smoker lung cancer risk. If just taking in the pill form, not sure why a person would want that in their lungs.

one thing i will say about vaperers is that they inhale very very deeply- not all do- but many do- The old adage still applies- ‘Everything in moderation’ That can’t be good for a person in the long run possibly- BUT- it’s not the actual vape liquids that are doing the damage it appears- it’s the additive E oil they add-

and like a poster above said the amount of people getting sick is way way way lower than those who smoke regular ciggs- but they are really hyping the deaths of vaping obviously for political reasons- not medical-

The CDC has traced all of the “vaping related” illnesses and deaths to illegal, black market THC cartridges. There are no known cases of anyone dying or becoming ill using legal vape devices and substances.
