It has been billed as the most politically correct James Bond movie yet but No Time To Die has not entirely done away with Benny Hill-style innuendo, The Mail on Sunday can reveal. In one scene, Daniel Craig's suave secret agent is struggling to get a seaplane airborne as his passenger cries out 'Get it up! Get it up!' prompting the wry reply: 'I've never had a problem with that before.' Fans who have come to love such doubles entendres might be surprised that they have survived the franchise's 'woke' makeover that has banned outdated sexism and introduced strong female characters, such as Lashana Lynch as another top British secret agent.
Bond would never be woke.
Bond is dead.
How woke are the villains?
“...No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to cry.”
Ooooh more STRONG women. I truly think this Hollyeood fake concept has subliminally sunk into the kinds of young women today...that they can actually fend off an adult man. Girls in their little jogging outfits and headphones jogging unaware through dangerous areas of Philly all the time. Makes ne cringe.. .Clueless.
The Bond franchisejust like NASCARcommitted suicide.
Barbara has done what all the villains couldn't' do....kill James Bond.
Ian Fleming would be rolling over in his grave if he knew what is going on...a wife and an electric car? Why not, have a preteen boy who is multigendered and his wife selling CBD oil?
The film should be called 'No Time to Watch Crap'!
Thanks for the laugh!
“Girls in their little jogging outfits and headphones jogging unaware through dangerous areas of Philly all the time. Makes ne cringe.. .Clueless.”
I live in a very rural area but new housing developments are springing up. You see age 14+ girls in sports bras and booty shorts jogging by themselves out in the middle of nowhere.
My wife was driving by a young girl one day and told her the area she was in was not safe. The young girl gave her a finger.
Well, at least they didn’t make him a transsexual locked in a fight to the death in a non gender specific bathroom in this one.
I have no problem with James Bond driving an electric car, as long as it performs like a Bond Car - and preferably gets totaled or dumped in the Tiber River. I also have no problem with him being married, as long as she is as beautiful as (the amazing, #1 Bond Girl) Diana Rigg and dies before the honeymoon. Otherwise, the only reason James Bond has survived so long is because he stands for real men, whether as we are or as men and women want a man to be.
Get woke, go broke.
Bond was sexist back in the 1960s. Being a womanizer was one of his flaws that Ian Fleming wrote into the character.
Bond drove a twin turbo Bentley.....extravagance and power as a reflection of his masculinity.
Now they give him an electric car and subservience to women.
Nice way to destroy a character’s roots.
I was going to post Lashana Lynch’s image, but on seeing a small one immediately lost sight in one eye and do not wish to inflect such horror on fellow FReepers.
Yeah, I think this is a way to just kill off the franchise.
Bond is despised by the Wokeatariat and no doubt they would like to end the string of highly successful films going back 50 years.
They can now point to the failure of this unwatchable drek and smugly affirm that no one wants to see any more Bond films due to his misogynistic toxic masculinity.
Ask the producers of the new Terminator movie how that turned out.
“The women in this film are all strong, brave and fiercely independent.”
Any woman described like that is none of those things. And any woman who WANTS to be described like that views herself as a competitor to men. Women who think like that cannot become friends, let alone lovers because they are incapable of thinking “WE” instead of MEMEMEME”.
“Ms Lynch, 31...was determined her character should be a ‘real’ woman ‘who has issues with her weight and maybe questions what’s going on with her boyfriend’.
She even discussed something which has never made it into a Bond film before: ‘We had one conversation about her maybe being on her period in one scene and throwing her tampon [into the bin].’”
Oh yeah! Just what I want to see - a Bond movie about a black woman on the rag with weight issues complaining about her boyfriend! Wouldn’t EVERYONE pay a lot of money for tickets to see THAT?
Pffttt!!!
