its like the whole country is supposed to care about temps in the east...

we had a few snow flakes here in eastern washington on Sept30 and we've had the coldest October in history...

but if its not the east coast I guess it doesn't happen.

I think that’s a function of the fact that something like 8 out of every 10 meteorologists currently walking the planet is an alumnus of Penn State University.

Not good because State College, PA is a hotbed of extreme whacko climate activism.

Yep...four snowstorms so far this season north of Coeur d’Alene, ID. But this is a warmish and rather sunny week as is next week.

That is true. The weather in the Northeast commands the attention of the entire nation. Even when I lived in California, everybody was always talking about what it was doing back East. Now that I work in NYC, I see why. New York City is pretty much the center of the universe.
