I kn o, I know, let’s just use the catch all phrase: CLIMATE CHANGE.
But is the record cold man-made? If so, how?
But, forty years ago we were still in THE COMING ICE AGE panic.

The fall and winter of 1976-77 was one of the worst I can remember! Proof of THE COMING ICE AGE! The cold began with one of the coldest Thanksgivings here ever, and January, the Continental US had complete cloud cover all that month with several really bad snow storms.
Wonder if March will be as bad as the storm of March 14, 1968. Shut down this area for a week.
On the positive side, Heidi’s been wondering how to get home. She can simply skate across now.

I guess they’ll be naming this “monster” cold snap. Climate Change is fun.

It will get all the way down to about 70 degrees here in about 2 weeks. (central CA)
Central AZ temps have been about 70 degree daytime highs since late summer and in fact since fall began...Lows have been in the high 30s and 40s...No complaints here! If this is global warming we need more.

I would like to point out the fact that although this is 180 degrees out from what global warming models predicted, it is exactly spot on for what Solar Scientists have predicted for the last 10 years. We are entering a solar minimum and it is going to be cold for the next few years.
Global warming is bull shit.
I was at Ft. Carson, Colorado, during that winter. We were on the warm side of that El Nino or La Nina or whatever it was. The pictures from back East looked awful. Thank you, U.S. Army!
