More than forty years ago, a wet-behind-the-ears recruit listened to the words of a battle-hardened, wizened soldier, who was commanding general of the 82nd Airborne Division. While the quote may be paraphrased from long-distant but reasonably-reliant memory, the actions backing the words of this battle-hardened veteran of two wars still resonates in many of the paratroopers who served under his command.
Note: Robinson retired as a 4-star (full) general. The 2-star rank indicated in his salutation is indicative of his rank when he gave the indoctrination speech at Ft. Bragg.

To solve the puzzle:
- Enter the letters in the top half (letter columns) of the puzzle into the white squares on the bottom half (answer grid) below
- Each letter must stay in its own column within the grid
- Each letter must be used exactly once
- Black squares represent spaces and do not get letters
- Gray squares represent punctuation marks or numbers and do not get letters
- Some words will continue from one row to another. Only spaces (black squares) or punctuation marks separate words.
