ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) -- A 13-year-old murder suspect escaped custody in Robeson County Tuesday. The Robeson County Sheriff's Office says the juvenile, identified only by the North Carolina Dept. of Public Safety as Jericho W., was in court around noon, appearing on the charges of two counts of first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. The juvenile is described as a Native American male with brown eyes and brown hair who stands 5-feet tall and weighs about 110 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and beige pants. He had on leg restraints and no shoes, authorities say. He was last seen in the intersection of Highway 72 and Country Club Road in Lumberton.

NCDPS says they have a "high degree of concern for the safety of both the juvenile and the public, due to a prior history of assaultive and unpredictable behavior." If you have any information on his whereabouts, you're asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 910-671-3170.

Native American? He's black.

Our own "native Americans" seem to stem from Asia, having all the DNA of their ancient ancestors. Ancient = 40k years ago.

Maybe he's a mixture of African and Asian, who crossed the Bering Strait so long ago.

In a class I had a LONG time ago we had visitors from Japan. They spotted a black girl and said that "she's part Korean."
After class I asked the girl and she said that her GRANDMOTHER was Korean. I never had a clue but those visitors spotted her.

40% of Robeson county identify as Lumbee Indian. Lumbee is an NC state recognized tribe, not federal.

In the 1950s, Lumbees clashed with the KKK, over accusations of race mixing. Reading the entry on wiki or researching online will answer your questions.

Lumbees are a state recognized Indian group in NC. They are not new.
There have been attempts to get them tribal status from the federal government.

Ask Giovanni da Verrazzano what he saw in 1524 what is now known as North Carolina

I think some research is in order from people on this page before making assumptions about who was here before who in this country.

Blacks are have been here long before the African supposed slavery time

So yes he is indigenous to this land
Mongolia had people who came assuming full rights as th 5 civilized tribes once 1865 freedman act was signed recognizing them as the only people native to this land and referring to indigenous blacks as African

From what I read about the first people here:
1. They were not Asian because they did NOT have round heads.
2. They were not African because it would have been too far for them to travel and there were no overland routes from Africa.
3. They were Caucasian types whose remains were found at the bottom of the pits the locals dug. The hunters would drive the beasts (mastodons/mammoths) into the pits they had dug. Then, of course, someone or two would have to jump into the pit and kill the beast.
Occasionally, I'm sure, some human hunter would get killed. Thus the human remains at the bottom of the pit. Their skulls were our shape.

That's how I learned it.

The point was that black people are indigenous to this America where it seems people on this thread were saying he couldn’t be native which by historical records isn’t true
