You are still supporting them. They make money off of your presence on their platform. The only way to get around this is to use their platform anonymously, and most people do not have the technical skills to do that. Do you use a private window, a VPN and delete your history regularly? If not, they are following you around on the internet and selling your browser habits to whoever will pay. The only way to hurt them is to drop them entirely. If you persist in using FB, then do not complain. You are part of the problem.
I'm not complaining and if FB is the worst of my problems I can live with it.
