So, he went to the “Chase Collegiate School” in Waterbury, founded in 1865. I went to prep school in nearby Cheshire, and never heard of it. It turns out that St. Margaret’s (one of several old names, including “Collegiate Institute for Young Ladies”) was renamed. It was a mediocre prep school, not in the same league as say, Hamden Hall or Choate, or even Hopkins, and one of the few schools we beat regularly in sports. According to Wikipedia, it was still called St. Margaret’s when he graduated in 2004.
