I suspect the reason they didn’t want him to testify is he will be a terrible witness. I was once a witness to a federal crime and I hired an attorney. My attorney told me that other than testifying to grand jury I wouldn’t be called to trial. Reason, I’m a lousy witness. I get too technical in my answers.

Swamp was never drained. I would have hired an army of back checkers as good as Secret Service before anyone got within 100 miles of D.C. Some of the a-holes I could have done a simple internet check and found red flags.
