/yes, I am fully aware of how utterly ridiculous that statement is. Hasn’t stopped certain people from stating it, however.
So, no acceptance, no tolerance, no celebrating diversity - even when it relates to something you dislike? I’m neither a fan nor a practitioner of racism, but if someone wants to be racist, or harbor racist attitudes, so be it. I’m not a fan of bluegrass music either, but you don’t see me trying to destroy the genre. I’m not trying to belittle racism, but I am trying to belittle the notion that we should destroy anything and anyone we disagree with.
Or just stop being a collectivist who is obsessed with race, and leave race out of it, and judge each person as an individual as best as one can.
In other words, would you not say that it is no longer sufficient for Dems not to be patriotic, now Dems feel more instructed to be anti-American (if not downright Stalinist?)
