There is a relatively high degree among many groups choosing to live and travel internationally, particularly as single men: int’l business, teaching, missions, etc.

When I hear some odd-looking man say he teaches English to schoolchildren in some southeast Asian country, I immediately become suspicious.

One of my class mates in HS, this goes back to graduation in 83, was very “off” by everyone’s inner beeper. He just had a feel to him that no one could pin down, but everyone knew his inner level was a half bubble off.

Ended up running a school in Thailand, one of my old classmates told me that he is wanted there now for crimes on the kids there.
