Last evening we went to a bbq at my sister in law’s cousin’s home. My brother & SiL were visiting & I had never met her cousin. They have a daughter in 1st grade.
The wife and I got to talking & I asked her what she thought of her daughter’s school. They both are disappointed. I was a little surprised because we have one of the best school districts in the state. She said that they both worked with their daughter like all good parents. She said they teach to the lowest common denominator and that she knew all the things they were teaching. Common sense things that poor parenting does not give a child. They are looking into private school.
I lived in one of the lousier school districts in the state. Acquaintances were fed up and moved to the state’s Best district.
Saw them about two years later, and they said it wasnt much different.
