It’s the media’s job to investigate and report the truth about important people and events — at least, it used to be.
These days, it seems that following facts no matter where they lead has been replaced by progressive pandering. It’s hard to come to any other conclusion, especially after a jaw-dropping piece published by CNN on Wednesday.
The left-leaning news network has essentially declared that questioning an unlikely story told by a female presidential candidate is sexist. Forget fact-checking and holding powerful people accountable; if a politician is the correct gender, they apparently get special treatment.
“Warren pregnancy debate another example of sexism in the guise of scrutiny,” the bold headline on CNN read.
The accompanying article by the network’s national political writer Brandon Tensley goes on to shame competing news outlets for noticing that Elizabeth Warren seems to fib a lot.

Of course it’s sexiest. When you have no argument, go with whatever -ist seems best. You may score some points. Probably not, though.
It isn’t even a particularly plausible lie, as far as tall tales go.
Teaching has been a female dominated profession in America since ... well, forever. Her condition was common for teachers in those days (1970s). It isn’t quite like they required her to remain single.
It’s just one of those Virtue Signalling stories. Pretty creepy. The whole Democrat slate of candidates is like pod people.
Washington needs an Enema.
If she happens to be the nominee I hope Trump slaps this fake upside her ugly mug with a new nickname. Screw these people. You can’t immunize your candidates with race and gender.
I like all her old nicknames.
You can switch between them or string them together.
I don’t think women are as weak as libs feel they are.
I think it’s sexist, racist, homophobic, islamaphobic, aracnaphobic.. to even think or breath.. and we should all just stare at our cell phones all day like monkeys.. and let cnn and their devil master.. tell us what to think.
I think it’s silly for the media to report her lies. That would be like going to the airport and reporting on all the flights that land safely.
If they want to really report something surprising about her, they should report when she tells the truth! Granted, those reports would be few and far between, but at least they’d be “news.”
