How far ahead of the 7 pm start should I get in line? Stupid question but at other rallies have the provided porta potties? Any suggestions or tips to make sure I get in would be appreciated.

I am still getting used to the fact that we have got to a point where a Republican has to go and campaign in Texas. Are these non Republicans mostly immigrants from other countries or migrants from failed Blue states ?

You will be inspected before getting into the arena. Have nothing that could be construed as a weapon. Less stuff in your pockets, the easier it will be. If it is raining you’ll have to leave your umbrella behind. By all means bring your ticket, but mine was never asked for. There will be portages potties but there won’t be trash containers, so you’ll have to litter.

You will have a good time.

Texas is the size of many countries. Dallas is not a Republican city. It is a Democrat stronghold and Trump is going there to show the rat he can go anywhere and draw a big crowd.

Some people get there 24 hours beforehand and camp out. Some people head there after work the same day. I’d think mid day would be good. Depends on where you want to be inside for the rally. Nose bleed section or floor or other. There’s no assigned seats.

Are you driving or taking TRE/Dart rail? Special event trains run certain times. Parking could be an issue. When I park for the hockey games it’s usually a lot further away and I walk back. I’d say at minimum of a hour earlier. At least it’s not blazing hot. Enjoy. Report back.

Early in the morning!! When president trump came to our BLUEST of blue city most people thought that the president wouldn't be able to fill the 10,000 seat auditorium and waited until they left work or close to rally time...WELL BIG SURPRISE!!! Thousands couldn't get in because those of us who waited in line for HOURS got seats, those that procrastinated couldn't even get their feet inside the auditorium gates!! Trump had more then 20,000 that night..11,000 inside and an estimated 11,000 outside! IT WAS AN AWESOME AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM!!😊

Taking Dart
I will for sure report back
Thank you everyone for feed back
I had seen lines forming many hours before rally starts and don’t mind standing in line but did wonder about porta potties.
I know they give more tickets than there are seats and it is first come first seated, Once filled then you end up standing outside.

For the rally I attended in PA, My Dad and I left home at 6:30am, and arrived around 8am. This was the day of the rally, not the day before. We got in without a problem, and were probably 25-30ft away from President Trump. As for the porta potties, they were provided. Just make sure to bring yourself a lawn chair.

Yes to both questions, AZ is almost gone for the same reason. Purple and turning Blue.

What was your handle prior to ‘08? Texas hasn’t been in the GOP ring that long even
though it is conservative in nature. 1995 was the last democrat governor, Ann Richards.

During the campaign, I attended three events in Reno. At that time 2 to 3 hours barely got us in. From everything I’ve seen today, I’d say 4 to 6 hours in advance. Loosely, that is our plan for his next visit to Reno.

I decided late to attend a Thank-You rally in 2016. We sat in the very top row of the arena. It was still a fabulous experience. Just being there with all the freedom-loving patriotic Americans is terrific. Even the people who don't get in, but watch on a big screen, seem to have a good time.

Send us a report from Dallas.

Based on what everyone is saying, go hours earlier. Just remember the departing special event train will be beyond full, but the regularly scheduled may be right behind it by a few minutes. Not sure about the porta potty situation. AAC holds 18k in a Stars hockey config, so estimate at least that attending inside.

I got in line for the New Hampshire rally last August about 8 hours before the scheduled start. I was one of the last people admitted....thousands were denied admission. One would think that there are a lot more Trump supporters in Dallas than in New Hampshire. I'd say 12 hours.

You leave them neatly stacked up next to the trash can when you go in. Write off the lawn chairs. The rally is free. Your comfort waiting cost a few bucks.
