I have escorted EVERY person that resigned from my companies, within an hour of notice, for 30 years. Paid them off for two weeks. If you quit me you don’t get to stay.
That’s a wise policy. Get’em out before they can cause any damage.
Good policy—for a whole bunch of reasons—and actually better for the person involved (even though they may not understand it at the time).
Smart move, I did it too. Give someone who decides they no longer want to be on your team two weeks and half the critical files are copied and or missing.
