There should be no declaration of war against Turkey at this point. There are other ways to help friendlies in that area of operations. Sanctions against Turkey might be wise along with continued efforts to isolate Iran.

This can’t even be a possibility at a future point, while both are in NATO.
There is absolutely no American interest in going to war with Turkey, period.
