I am very curious why Mueller would lie about this under oath. There must be some provable malfeasance on his and Rosenstein’s part that he thought he could hide.
Because if Robert Mueller had testified that he discussed being appointed FBI Director with President Trump that would have generated a major conflict of interest and it also would mean Mueller was a fact witness to his own investigation - a big no no
Mueller is lying because he would be guilty of a conflict of interest and should have refused the job of Special Counsel. Trump discussed with him Comey’s firing. Trump was also the subject of an obstruction of justice investigation launched by McCabe one week after Comey was fired. Mueller was a fact witness after his meeting with Trump.
Probably thought like the rest of Dem, President Trump would be gone by now:-)
