Gadzooks and General Jackson-- Looks like even a old dog like me can hear something totally new and unexpected.

In al my 72 years, including the 30 some odd spent on or about the loony left coast, I never ever heard anyone say such about Annette Funicello.

I heard some whisper her acting was not on the level of Bette Davis or Marlon Brando.

And I recall one or two being ticked off that she did not ever wear a bikini in her surf films.

BUT NEVER EVER, until today, have I heard someone say she was "an unattractive motor-mouth and overrated camera hog"

I am sure there are uncounted millions of Annette Fans out there what would say:

"Them's... fightin' words!"

Now, now, Bendy. Ancient Man is just giving his opinion... and as much as I cannot say I like what he says about me, he does have the right to express his freedom of speech.

And that is why we all... just love the hell out of her?

I was totally jealous of her because she had boobs and I didn’t (yet). Plus the way the boys went nuts over her. I did feel very bad for her when she ended up in a wheelchair and passed away too young.
