I’m in Marin County,Ca. not far from the American Canyon location. The hills are dried out and feathery brown right now. All it would take to create a disaster effecting thousands of residents, would be for a strong wind to pick up sparks from fire like this one. What a DOPE!!

Residents have been told to watch and be ready but not evacuated yet AFAIK.
The fire dept here in Marin is going hog wild this year on taking out wide swaths of vegetation I noticed
