Interesting problem. I hope that we won’t see an environment of much violence. Most officers and government employees are not very technically inclined for the purpose of controlling and securing routes and services on the ground. The economic costs for those who depend on investment returns would also be staggering. People who keep us safe and secure with aviation, transportation and other security necessities would absolutely need mobility and access to local services. Horrible! Widespread civil unrest would be unthinkable! Prices on many necessities would skyrocket. Most of the higher paying jobs would disappear overnight.

You are lucky. I remember watching the Steve Allen show that featured Blue Cheer as the musical guests. As I recall, they did “Summertime Blues” with two banks of huge combo amps stacked on each other and after the performance, Allen was rolling his head and muttering something about how the viewing audience had no idea how loud it was.

I won’t start anything but I won’t run from a righteous fight either....If it happens my guess is an unconventional war. Imagine hundreds or thousands of unintended consequences or IRA style freedom fighters...targets are easily defined and spread throughout the country with some target rich centralized areas. methinks the propaganda presses would come to a quick halt after a skirmish or two, we would quickly find out who is a keyboard warrior and who has the courage of their convictions..

Excellent reminder... IMHO, two of the key issues on which we, the older generation, failed miserably were:

1. Allowing some un-elected black-robed marxist tyrant get away with imposing "busing" on us thereby destroying the neighborhood concept and forcing children to become defacto "globalists" and to educated/brain-washed in a system of the lowest common denominator; and,
2. Letting the marxists do away with the draft, which was a key factor in developing and preserving the notions of both patriotism and freedom's true costs...

By the end of the 70's & 80's, our stupidity and, maybe, cowardice resulted in an unavoidable marxist-inspired path to the Republic's final destruction...

Probably, when President Reagan spoke those words, he knew it was already too late...
