A town hall event hosted by Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took a turn for the bizarre on October 3 when a woman speaking from the floor urged the eating of babies as a necessary step in the fight against climate change.
“We only have a few months left,” the woman said, continuing: “I love that you support the green deal, but it’s not getting rid of fossil fuel, it’s not going to solve the problem fast enough. A Swedish professor [said] we can eat dead people but that’s not fast enough. So I think your next campaign slogan has to be this: ‘We got to start eating babies!’ We don’t have enough time! There is too much CO2.”

Took her a few minutes to process if this is something she should get on board with, though.
That one would even have to think about what the "correct" response would be is appalling on its own.
She was channeling Swift's "A Modest Proposal". I still don't know how she kept a straight face. She really stayed in character the entire time. I guess New York City has so many crazies that people just accept such bizarre behavior without questioning it? I could tell AOC was a tad flabbergasted, but she probably thought the lady was a loon. After all, libs think we have to accept a hairy bearded man as a woman, so nothing much fazes them these days.
This may be the start of election year awesomeness! Imagine at future democrat forums, J Random Freeper shows up innocently enough, and poses a ridiculous ask, just to excite the insane extremists who have assembled.
