As the firestorm over President Trumps July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to consume the news cycle, the Trump administration has taken new action into a controversy that played a central role in the 2016 election: the Hillary Clinton private email server scandal.
The Washington Post reported Saturday that State Department investigators are investigating the email records of dozens of current and former senior State Department officials who sent messages to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clintons private email.
As many as 130 officials have been contacted in recent weeks by State Department investigators a list that includes senior officials who reported directly to Clinton as well as others in lower-level jobs whose emails were at some point relayed to her inbox, said current and former State Department officials, the Post reports. Those targeted were notified that emails they sent years ago have been retroactively classified and now constitute potential security violations, according to letters reviewed by The Washington Post.
The Posts sources say investigators began contacting former officials 18 months ago, then seemed to drop the effort before picking it up again in August. In virtually all of the cases, potentially sensitive information was sent to Clintons private, unauthorized server, the outlet notes.

I’m sure this is only because they want to give them all medal of freedom awards.
Reconstructing all of the emails she deleted by going through the emails of all of her contacts?
Nuland is now 12-1 in the latest Arkancide betting line.
Good.
ping me for the perp walk
Yes. I believe the state department under Pompeo isn’t going to take the word of the state departments under Hillary Clinton or John Kerry about work related emails not carrying sensitive information.
Any perp walks you might see will be straight into cushy rooms with minimal supervision. Free lunch. Free CNN.
or in her case, a wheelchair
These people better be careful what they wish for. It will backfire on them.
Fascinating. Still waiting for someone, anyone, from the Left (msm/democrats/deepstate) to be held accountable.
Hopefully this bogus impeachment charge will be the straw that breaks the camels back. Take the frickin gloves off and hit them right between the eyes. There’s no better time than now. If this garbage keeps up there’s only two things that can happen. More people will believe it and the other side will get worn down. Not me though. But I like to think my mind is a little more critical than the average bear.
Yes but they wouldnt need the actual people to reconstruct. They likly reconstructed already and now questioning. Pompeo gave the speech to protect his people to head off any criticism when it was shown that that’s what they did to hillaries goons. So funny. Now they cant use that line.
Saw somewhere that a reporter asked the President if the administration had Hillary’s e-mails and the President said yes. Gave me the impression that they were intact. This was within the last week or so
“Reconstructing all of the emails she deleted”
The deleted ones no doubt will be the best reading. Kind of them to do the highlighting.
Maybe Ukraine has a complete image of the server, from CrowdStrike.
This is not a new action...
It took them this long to sift through millions of emails...
Dont believe the spin...
weren’t the emails all collected by Obama’s superduper database that mad Maxine bragged about?
Any perp walks you might see will be straight into cushy rooms with minimal supervision. Free lunch. Free CNN.
Free CNN? Isnt that considered cruel and unusual punishment?
No reasonable prosecutor would charge Hillary. To do so would mean certain Arkancide.
I do not know. Thought they were on an overseas server for some reason.
