Didn’t know this, but they released only ten studio albums in 33 years. Not very prolific. So yes, they don’t have as much of a catalog to draw from as other bands, and the monotony is far greater since the hardcore (and most brain-dead) fans would prefer the stuff from the 80s.
Motley Crue, Poison, Aerosmith, etc. have destroyed hotel rooms. Orgies with underage girls. Tons of cocaine, heroin, and alcohol abuse. Yet, they're celebrated and revered by fans and even in music media.
But Snoop Dogg smokes a joint and he's a thug glorifying violence.
