There is a YouTube guy that buys salvaged cars and puts them back together. He recently bought a Tesla and was repairing frame damage and during the filming he showed the extremely POOR quality of the Tesla factory welds. I was stunned at how poor the workmanship was. I did better welds in high-school shop class in 1968 when I was 14 years old.

When an EV can equal my diesel's 800 mile highway range and its ability to be "recharged" in about 4 minutes at any one of 40,000 "recharging" stations nationwide I'll probably buy one.

Until then...NO THANKS!
