One of the big compost companies will handle it.

Tyson’s Chicken is a MAJOR Clinton donor. I wouldn’t eat it if it were donated. Send it to LA and feed the homeless.

I cleaned up a lot of these, most times on refrigerated trailers it can also start on the other end. Special attention needs to be done to keep wire looms and fuel systems on the unit tight. Being lazy with unit inspections doesn’t pay with these two particular systems.

And because units are not a DOT safety item they most often get neglected on a regular basis.

Actually they usually haul it to the land fill, It makes great compost for the landfill digestion. And yes... It does indeed stink bad until it is covered in the fill.

I watched an owner operator get mad at the company he was hauling a load for because they had refused to settle up on several prior loads. He took a cab to the local Walmart and bought a BBQ and several cases of sauce. For the next two days he barbecued and sold off the whole truck load of ribs whole racks at a time. Then left the trailer where it sat. lol

I have been in the big rig wrecker recovery business all my life. We used to get probably 30 truck loads a year of free stuff we had to clean up after an accident. Everything from Booze to toilet paper and everything in between. We would share almost all of it with the neighborhood.

The insurance companies put a stop to that, they would not pay out unless proof was provided that every pound was destroyed and disposed of.

What a waste it has now become... We can thank irrational frivolous liability suits for this.
