What Pelosi and company are doing here is reprehensible and immoral. But it is not treasonous. The Constitution gives the House the power to impeach for any old reason. The “high crimes” thing just means any misbehavior by a high official, the President in this case.
As an example, Benjamin Franklin once remarked that a President could be impeached simply for being rude.
So I don’t want to see trials for treason over this. That would turn us into a banana republic. What I do want to see is the Democrats being punished on Election Day. I want to see a landslide Trump victory.
Nancy has a bad habit of jumping the gun. Remember she demanded everyone sign obamacare before reading it. Now, before anyone has heard the phone call, she’s demanding impeachment.
She keeps saying Trump can’t ask a favor of a foreign government in regards to getting dirt on a political opponent. First, Trump has no political opponent until the DNC picks their slate. Second, funny how this impeachment has finally come about when Biden is falling in the ranks against Warren.
It’s been apparent for a few months the DNC wants nothing to do with 2010. Much like the Rs did everything they could not to win ‘08.

The treason is not in the impeachment investigatory committees. The treason is in half of the government, all of the media, and most of the “money” attempting to unlawfully and unconstitutionality overturn the will of the people as expressed through free elections.

I think at some level she already knows this is her last majority Speakership. This dem majority has solidified their reputation as an infantile grudge hunter with these witch hunts and inability to accept the 2016 election by the people.
Dems are incapable of taking 'no' for an answer just like the average 2 yo toddler. The people see this and will vote the dems out of the majority. They basically kicked their own butt. My gut feeling is Pelosi is tired of fighting the radical wing of her party without support. Most of the non radicalized members are staying silent which is a form of consent. Only Tulsi Gabbard (D) spoke out against impeachment.

It’s very simple-if Trump is truly waiting for a second term to “indict and prosecute the swamp” (which I seriously doubt)-that is a serious gamble. You first have to win an election. Then you have to hold the Senate to put judges in place you may need.
That sort of gambling is asinine, considering what’s at stake-especially if you could take down a few swamp creatures before the election in the hopes that this would bolster the rest of the plan being put in action.
That’s why if something doesn’t happen soon-it’s not. In my opinion.

Just think, with President Donald Trump, the GOP has pure magic in their hands! And instead of capitalizing on their great good luck (something they've done NOTHING to deserve, much less earn) ... they reject him and his vast abilities.... sheeeesh.
