Note this teenager is picked up and carried to the vehicle while two small children (hers?) scream and cry and what may be her mother arguing bravely on her behalf. Where is the left when children are REALLY being brutally separated from their mothers?

Always wanted to go to Kazakstan. Fabulous mosques, really art.
Former 0wner of my gym, woman my size (5’2, 124 lbs), went to Middle East on motorcycle trip. Started at Istanbul, ended in NW China. Made a video of trip. In Kazakstan, they were escorted across the country by Kazakstan police. They made a video of the trip, available at my library. If you are interested, I’ll ask library to find the CD—name escapes me at this moment.

Humblegunner, you sarcasm is beyond reproach. The teenage girl was arrested because the Chinese thugs believed she was participating in an unsanctioned protest. However, she was only shopping with her mother.

“Compassionate” Christians are becoming a rare breed. Hate begets hate, and few are strong enough to rise above this in true virtue.
Perhaps. They were not allowed to talk to the locals. But other countries on the trip welcomed them with open arms. Probably surreptitiously, but still, did not interfere with them. They were allowed to talk to locals everywhere else.
