How about doing Sharpe as a general in the Crimean War.
Has a torrid affair with Florence Nightingale!

Must be nice to have so much work in such a competitive profession that you can turn down roles for such a frivolous reason.

He shouldn’t complain, he could have been a reoccuring red shirt in the original Star trek.

Actually I think this is pretty funny. Sean Bean is really a great actor, IMHO.

His role was as a faker and DeNiro’s character called him out on it. Just something about the way he played that role.

Sean Bean is really a great actor, IMHO.I really liked him as Richard Sharpe in the original run of the Sharpe series based on Bernard Cornwell's books. In the books, Sharpe was described as being tall with dark hair. After seeing Sean in the role, that is the way I imagine Sharpe now - blonde and not very tall.

Darn, he was pegged for one of the drummers in the Spinal Tap reboot.

Back when actors wanted the dramatic death scene not every movie/TV show was part of a franchise series. Hard to cash in on franchise revenues when your character dies early on.
