I quit cable and satellite years ago, not because of cost or customer service but because of content. I refuse to support CNN, MSNBC, the homosexual channels, etc.
A “500 channels universe is coming soon” these early providers would advertise. Sounded awesome in the 1990’s, and for a while most of the channels were independently owned and had original programming worth watching. In 2019 you have, what? 3 global entities owning the tv universe...Viacom, Time-Warner and Disney? All promoting their agenda and values while remaining silent on so many other important things.
