Wall Street Journal writers don’t know the difference between “it’s” and “its”? They must be hired right after fifth grade, because we covered this in sixth grade.

I believe the poster of the article made the error not the WSJ (if oyu go to the link).

My 6th grade English teacher at Lincoln Elementary (Dayton,OH), Mrs Erball, taught us sentence diagramming - she was quite the stickler in getting it right. As I moved thru HS to Grad school to my senior corporate life, I certainly appreciated her strict teaching.

As I got older/seasoned, I kinda created my own versions for posting on forums, etc. At a certain point, even my handwriting went from an “A” in the 5th grade to barely legible.
