Cities in red states such as Texas, Georgia, and Arizona are becoming increasingly deep blue as a wave of millennials and white liberals move from blue state cities, coupled with a booming foreign-born population.

Parasites. They destroy their own cities, complain and move to new cities to do the same exact thing.

I wonder if the downfall of Republics throughout history is because the youngster eventually lose sight of the sacrifices the older generations made to secure the Republic in the first place and refuse to support the Republic against foreign invaders both political and military.

My son just gave me very hopeful news about the current children attending public schools. My son is currently taking classes to be certified to teach physics and math. In those classes in preparing him for teaching they prepare him to understand the mindset of the current generation of students. There has been a major shift in the level of skepticism regarding information.

The recent generation that has moved on from high school accepted anything and everything as true if they read it on Facebook, wikipedia or elsewhere on the internet. The current kids accept nothing. They believe there are no trustworthy sources.

His teachers see this as a problem. I see this as hope.

I can second this. My teen daughter and her friends are much more skeptical, and they love to mock the status quo. Her best friend describes himself as a “Classic Liberal” and idolizes Milton Friedman. They mock the snow flakes, those identifying as anything other than male or female, and the easily offended.
Granted, we live in a very conservative area of Florida, but earlier kids we knew were much more leftist and indoctrinated.

a booming foreign-born population

The cities are being suicide bombed. The wealth creating factories left the big cities long ago. Cities used to have economies of scale but technology is pushing the peak point many miles out.

You can blame one small group of people that did their level best to “bring high paying jobs for Georgians, Texans, Arizonans, Tennesseeans, North Carolinians, South Carolinians, Floridians”....the previous Governors of those states. Perdue, Deal, Perry, etc etc.

They all went around the country and bragged to AT&T and everyone else that would let them in the office with the promise of big new homes in swim/tennis communities, new schools, new baseball and soccer fields, new parks, low taxes, better weather, low crime. They’ll be jobs for everyone, all their constituents will be getting new, high paying jobs....folks will be poppin’ bottles from Myrtle Beach to DFW. And everyone will love their new homes so much they’ll become God-fearing, deer hunting members of the NRA.........Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh............NOPE!!!!!

Instead, the companies moved. And when they moved, they brought their employees with them. They still recruited from the same places so even more liberal democrats moved with them. And when they moved they didn’t become God-fearin’, deer huntin’, NRA members....they brought all their liberal BULLSH*T with them. They started gentrifying neighborhoods and running folks out. And started demanding services and results. What has that wrought? Higher taxes.

In Atlanta, it’s gotten so bad, that the mayor is telling black residents not to sell to the white liberals that are offering anything. But, the city also keeps raising taxes, for no reason whatsoever as the demand for services hasn’t really increased, and it’s forcing folks to sell. Georgia is one of the most ‘gun friendly’ states in the country. The 6th Congressional District, Tom Prices old district, elected an Anti-Gun Activist that didn’t even live in the state. And before her, John Ossoff almost pulled it off. His claim to fame: he didn’t live in the district and his only job has been.....wait for it.... a staffer for Hank Johnson. You know? The Georgia Congressman that talked about Guam flipping over, clowns having no more helium for balloons and recognizing that the word, midget, is insulting and referred to it as, the M word.

Nashville has become a liberal cesspool, with its mayor recently putting out a press release to illegals on how to avoid ICE. And Chattanooga and Knoxville aren’t too far behind. Then, it has Murfreesboro, home to one of the biggest muslim populations in the country. The state legislature sued over the unfunded costs in caring for refugees, but it just got tossed. The reasons.....the AG wasn’t representing the state in the lawsuit, the legislature had to hire a private firm, and the previous Governor didn’t support it.

We will reap what we sow....I could go on for days.

I’m still waiting for them to rebel. For the last 20-30 years youth have been terribly regimented, helicopter parented, zero tolerance, smoking age raised to 21, banning flavored e cigs, political correctness off the charts, #me too crap and so forth. My generation couldn’t have put up with this shit for a minute.

That observation is absolutely true in my experience. I hope you are correct about the upcoming generation.

You are correct they do bring employees with them. All the high paying jobs goes the people who move here. The rents are through the roof near downtown Greenville. A lot of the poor families are being force out of the city.

Now you see a bunch of ultra liberals in town than move here from Ca, Fla and New York. I find they often look down on the locals here. They will ask leading questions to validate their stereotypes. They will refer to local people as country bumpkins.

One carpet bagger will not talk to me anymore because I believe a Woman is a Woman, and a man is a man, you can not change your sex.

The leftist , union-member, public school teachers have done their job to indoctrinate your kids using government resources (your taxes) provided under education laws. The garbage they are teaching your kids is unbelieveable.

The leftists have come to dominate every branch/department of the government.

I remember what Rush said when someone asked him if Obama ordered Lois Lerner to discriminate against conservatives in the IRS. He said, "she didn't have to be told what to do, she already knew". It's that way everywhere even down to to lowest level of government.

BTW, Lois is enjoying her $102,600 a year government pension paid for by you.

In Atlanta, it’s gotten so bad, that the mayor is telling black residents not to sell to the white liberals that are offering anything.

That is about preserving his political power base which is 100% centered on race. If white liberals buy those homes and gentrify they are probably not gong to vote for black candidates with race grievance agendas. They'll vote for Elizabeth Warren-style socialists instead.

He won't stop one of them from selling. The real color that matters here is green.

He said, "she didn't have to be told what to do, she already knew".

It starts down at the lowest levels. A clerk in a county department who decides to sidetrack a building permit because the applicant wrote one too many Letters to the Editor criticizing his bosses.

You nailed it. What’s funny is, I’m from NY. Moved to Georgia about 24 years ago and never looked back. Lived in and around Atlanta for the first 15 or so years and now live east of the city. And it’s time to move again. But, when the new transplants meet me and, as you say, look down their noses at me when I get out of my pickup, all I have to do is open my mouth. Haven’t lost the accent. And I can even use a few $10 words.

As much as I hate what illegals and refugees are doing to our country, I think I hate liberal hipsters moving to Red States and changing things, even more.

Next Mayor of Atlanta is a lesbian. That’s where my money is going. You’re right about the money. The last mayor, Kasim Reed, didn’t really care about the people all that much as he thought he was on his way to DC with Soetero. That didn’t work, so he did his best for PIAPS and that didn’t work, and now he’s under a federal investigation and lots of his former staff are either in prison or on their way.

Keisha Bottoms took the reigns and you are 100% correct. The Black Power structure that has ruled Atlanta for decades is crumbling to white liberals from up north.

There’s a ton of money in that city and even the Black Power structure could only do so much as long as Coke and a few others ran that city from behind the scenes. But they were the King and Queen makers in the public eye.

I remember when I was a kid I had this older cousin that my parents would only whisper about in hushed tones because he had come out as gay. Then he picked-up and moved to Atlanta. Even as a kid I knew the South was pretty conservative and wondered why on Earth any gay person would move to Atlanta?

Little did I know that the place is absolutely crawling with them. The B-52s, etc.
