Trump has been very bad for Russian and Saudi business. By implementing policies that helped expand American oil and natural gas production, Trump has indirectly attacked their economies. Under Trump, US oil production has exploded to unprecedented levels. It is now above 12 million barrels per day, which is the most in the world.
More importantly, almost every prominent Democrat has promised—indirectly, of course—to be very good for Russian and Saudi business by enacting policies and implementing executive actions that will drastically raise the value of their industries. For Russia and Saudi Arabia, the CNN climate town hall last week included one piece of candy after another. If the Russians and the Saudis were listening—and we can be sure they were—they must have loved what they heard.
Senator Kamala Harris said, “there’s no question. I’m in favor of banning fracking.” Senator Bernie Sanders agreed, saying, “any proposal to avert the climate crisis must include a full fracking ban on public and private lands.” Sanders went on to say, “when we are in the White House, we will end the era of fossil fuels, and that includes fracking.” Senator Elizabeth Warren also supports banning all fracking.

The dynamics of this subject haven’t changed one bit since 2016 - the Russians could NOT EVER have wanted a Trump victory, as it would have (and, in hindsight, HAS) produced a virtually historical replay of the 1980s, when Ronaldus Maximus broke the back of the Soviet Union through lower oil prices and higher defense spending. Trump promised to unleash the oil industry and to build up the armed forces, and has done just that. Anyone who thinks that Putin couldn’t figure this out 4-5 years ago is an idiot, because Putin surely isn’t one by a very long shot.
And, thus, the very idea of the Russians colluding with the Trump campaign to defeat Clinton is laughable.
I thought Trump colluded with Russia to defeat Hillary and get Trump elected in 2016?
Now Russia wants the democRATS to beat him in 2020?
Can't Russia make up their minds on what they want?

Question: If we (the U.S.) is actually, in reality producing over 12 Million Barrels of Oil/Gasoline a day, why then should ANYTHING that happens in the Middle East to an oil refinery EVER affect US gas prices? Also, for the record, while it appears that Hussein from Hawaii helped to get Iran the money and tech to create those drones that bombed Saudi oil, why not just let them have at it. Sauds are Sunni, right? Iranians are Shia, right? Boom done...
But, Russia got him elected the first time!
