Solution to our last puzzle:
THE ROAD TO EASY STREET IS THROUGH THE SEWER. JOHN MADDEN
Hint for todays CG: The road to solving this, is getting the author first.
1 and 1/2 min. Got the most popular letter and rest became apparent. Author’s name confirmed quote.
I guessed the first word after the comma, DGJ, and after that is was off to the races. Short puzzles are harder, but a lucky guess helps.
More difficult than most. Started with the word after the comma, then the author filled in.
Yes, its BONUS time once again. That laughable time when you get to solve a humorous quote from a classic funny movie, comedian, or entertainer. The trick is, unlike nikos puzzle where you dont want to post spoilers, with the BONUS puzzle its a race for first solution posted, BUT you dont post the solution directly, You post a funny pic ,gif, or meme that shows you solved it. First pic or gif wins the prize with full bragging rights. Honorable mentions for all original pic or gif posts.
Ive got stacks of honorable mention awards laying about, so just because someone solves the quote first doesnt mean you cant contribute to the fun.
Dont get wrapped up in how easy or hard it is. Just solve it and post something funny and share the fun.
Todays puzzle should be fun and easy. No knowledge of foreign language skills required. Be creative with your replies 😝
Here it is (with anticipation and drum roll). Ready, set, solve:

I was stumped a little on this one, four minutes.
Of course I slapped the ‘coward’.
Took me 4 1/2 minutes. I just couldn’t get a handle on it until I remembered what word usually follows a comma.
Both of those were tough for me. About 4 minutes each. Nice choices!
Not quite 3 min. The most popular letter had to be in one of two places; by the second try I had that.
A hard-won victory.
