I recall a story from a former radio colleague of mine, also passed away recently, who said that Eddie was what they call an ‘easy interview’. You can ask him a question, get up from your seat, go out of the studio, go to the bathroom, get a cup of coffee, drink the coffee, go back into the studio, and Eddie would still be going on about the same question you asked him. The guy liked to tell stories.
His reality TV show was good for that....................
