Yeah. Wanna come over to my house Sunday afternoon? We can do something more entertaining, like, dig a big hole in my back yard, then stand there drinking beer and staring into it silently.
Sports in general is a corrupt disrespectful entity
The Texans still have players kneeling... if you go to these games you are supporting the people that want to take your guns, implement socialism... and for what? Because you bought some season tickets way back when? Sell them. You will sleep better at night.
Take your Sunday, Monday, Thursdays back. Do something constructive instead. The people running the NFL wouldn’t pick you out of a ditch... why give them your hard earned cash?
I watch college football. D2, I-AA, and smaller conferences like the MAC.
I enjoy a conundrum as much as the next guy so I still ‘insist’ that when they take a knee, ‘WE’ flood the netherworld with congratulatory messages about how they took the time to PRAY before the game.
Won’t be long before ACLU etal will be DEMANDING they stop the praying in public etc etc etc
Watching Nationals at Minnesota last night and MASN showed the National Anthem being performed (lone bugler) and ALL the participants...police, players and coaches - YES the minority and Latino and White all at attention with hat/hand over heart and those that ‘qualified’ were saluting.
Think MLB had only one instance last year of a ‘kneeler’ - a 3rd string minor leaguer in the Giants org..he got his 2 minutes and either he is gone or someone ‘convinced’ him about the error of his ways IF HE WANTED TO REMAIN EMPLOYED by MLB etal.
I would go to a Miami game if they gave out free beer and hot dogs.
