A JetBlue flight on its way to Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico diverted to Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport today [Sept 11] due to a medical emergency.

Going to Bermuda is WAAAY outside the great circle route from Reagan to San Juan.

Could have been cabin pressure loss, and they needed to get to 1 atmosphere altitudes, and fuel consumption rates dictated Bermuda.
