I love my iPhone 6 plus. Had it for 3 years.
If it ever breaks - I’ll go buy another one, No way will I pay $600 - $800 - $1,000 and more for a iPhone.
Wise. Why shell out the cash when the previous gen is perfectly serviceable at a significant discount? Typically new or used with a warranty.
I’ve had my Samsung S7 Edge for 3+ years - works absolutely perfect running Android 8 and functions as my primary work phone.
I’ve no interest in upgrading to a “new technology” phone when my current technology is working more than OK.
It still looks great with the curved edge screen and its high resolution.
Have you checked out TracFones? My wife and I bought iPhone 5S devices under the TracFone label for under $199 each, kept them several years before upgrading to iPhone 7 devices again via TracFone for just over $200 each. No expensive contracts, we buy minutes as needed, and enjoy all the features of an iPhone. You don't need to pay more than $300 if you do without the latest model.
My 5S is still able to be updated, however, it has trouble at times switching between functions. We all slow down with age, n’est-ce pas?
Love having a computer in the palm of the end, but really tempted to return to a flip phone.
