who the hell watches MTV?

It was 20 years ago when I was sitting in the office early in the morning. An Indian IT contractor was sitting in a cube on the other side. He had just booted up his PC to read some online news from home.
He announced to us in a loud voice “The MTV India Channel launches today!”
I got up, walked across the room, shook his hand and said “Welcome to the End of Civilization!”
i was about to say, i don’t know if anyone watches that crappy channel anymore.
the biggest show it puts on is the “Video Music Awards”, and the latest one fell nearly 50% from its ratings last year.
Garbage television.
