Obama didn't want Biden to run. They think Biden might be able to win enough delegates to secure the nomination. They want no one to secure the nomination...a brokered convention.

The Dems have a BIG problem on their hands with any scenario that involves drafting Moochelle at the convention.
It’s this: They’ve been ranting and railing against Trump for going on three years as an unprepared, unqualified boob.
Their base listens to that. And as a result 72% of them are now telling pollsters that its “very critical” that their nominee has prior experience in elected office.
And that’s a BIG problem for her.
