I don’t think we are supposed to ask such a question. It’s a good one, based on their saying a woman candidate failed due to sexism, then how do they explain another woman being in the top tier now?
And if Cory Booker and Kamala Harris fail, it will be due to racism, even though we’ve already had a non-white president. Pete Buttgig, if he fails, will be said to be due to “homophobia”.
They have their templates set up. They just need to fill in the blanks when the time comes, hit “send”, and publish the story at the appropriate time.
I would love to see the next president ,after Trump,as a woman in the ideological mold of a Trump.
I thought we were on that path with Sarah Palin. But her ongoing domestic implosions have likely rendered that moot (i.e. her kids can’t keep themselves out of the tabloids).

A first woman President should have ability and experiences that prepare her to be Commander in Chief of the military...
That applies to anyone who wants to be president.
We already tried the experiment with a completely unqualified goof because of the color of his skin.
