Upper Darby used to be an upper middle class neighborhood in the 50’s and 60’s. The Tower theater was a classy movie and then music venue. Seems like the West Philly culture has spread to the suburbs. Both my wife and I went to high school in Upper Darby; she at the public high school where these kids are from, and I went to Bonner, the Catholic school down the street. Doubt any of the Bonner guys in their still worn uniforms were in this crowd. Notice no pictures shown of who they were.

I was there visiting back in the late 80s and remember it being a blue collar place. I’d say Upper Darby and Darby compete with Norristown as the worst towns in MontCo these days.
